Barton Grange  Award Winner

Barton Grange included two projects: the conversion of a 17th century barn and the refurbishment and extension of a 17th century timber-framed farmhouse.

The new extension links the existing house to the 17th century oak-framed barn. Extensive oak repairs and underpinning were required to ensure the barn was structurally sound. The three storey property combines traditional Suffolk farmhouse style with landscaped gardens to embrace the local countryside.

  • Extensive oak repairs and underpinning carried out to stabilise the original barn structure
  • Sympathetic extension works within the parameters of traditional styling and local environment
