Chillesford Lodge Model Farm was designed to be totally sympathetic and in keeping with the surroundings but with the advantages of modern living. It is a development which respects the listed buildings’ integrity but uses the internal space to deliver stylish open plan living areas.
The barns are of brick construction and internally the original roof timbers are exposed to add depth to the buildings fabric. The project involved complete refurbishment incorporating new timber windows and glazed facades where able to bring light into the original structures.
With 6 units being refurbished concurrently on a tight programme, the site team focused on robust procedures and programming to ensure that all works were carried out to the highest standards to achieve the client’s vision within the required timescales.Client testimonial
