Granary Barn

On the same site as Sheppard's Barn, the Granary Barn conversion and construction of a new cartlodge were completed a year before the start of the main barn conversion.

Converted from an old cartlodge and store, Granary Barn provides a spacious living area for holiday rental, whilst retaining external storage and car parking space.

The barn was underpinned and repairs undertaken to the brickwork plinth and oak structure; external cladding and roof coverings were also replaced. The new cartlodge was constructed from green oak in a traditional Suffolk style to provide additional parking spaces for the owners.

  • Extensive oak repairs and underpinning carried out to stabilise the original structure
  • Green oak construction of additional cartlodge facility
