SIP House

Built out of structural insulated panels (SIP), this is a modern new build with spacious open plan living areas which is firmly future-focused. The external fa├žade owes its distinct character to the combination of untreated larch cladding, self-coloured Baumit render together with the flint-filled gabion cages and Bauder green roof of the garage.

A range of renewable energy and renewable heat technologies provide a substantial amount of the properties heating, hot water and power. Systems are also in place to harvest and re-use rainwater for the house.

From start to finish, the house took just under nine months to complete.

  • Innovative, energy efficient panel construction completion
  • Untreated larch cladding and a self coloured Baumit render
  • Garage constructed from gabion cages filled with flints with a Bauder green roof
